What should I do
To be consumed by love;
To be someone or something
That is made up of love,
But the paradox of being human;
The greed that consumes Love
like it’s a buffet
In the hotel that’s overpriced
But there was no where else to stay,
Consuming love like
it’s an unlimited All you can eat;
We know the price
We know the consequence
But oh we think it’s a bargain,
To consume love without knowing
what we’re eating,
We want the value
We’re ready for the ruin
We gorge and then we purge,
Am I simply consuming love
And assuming
that it is the other way around?
