We grow at different paces
Maybe the pressures that we face
Cause our clocks to beat
A little slower or a little faster
Maybe as we fall into despair
And the heaviness weighs
We look around us and see
Everyone else moving twice our speed
Physics says that with different gravities
Our time beats a little differently
So maybe my gravity
Has been a little heavy
And I feel like I’ve been left behind
But like a dying star
I hope it means a new beginning
